I'm tired, but I can't sleep. It's one of those times where you feel sleepy but as soon as you lay down, or in the case of me laying down already and playing video games, I get really sleepy while i'm playing, then it vanishes when I stop. Not cool.

I'm gonna start getting twitchy.

I got a package from my mummy and Ryan today, it was mostly pictures, like a whole roll of film's worth. Some of them are REALLY fucking cool. Someday, when I get around to getting another printer/scanner/whatever-the-fuck-else-they-can-amalgamate-in, then i'll scan some and share! Don't expect it anytime soon though, moneis are getting delegated elsewhere for now (Can we say Nintendo DS? Yes, I think we can). They also sent me a really neat little Corin figurine, thus feeding my horrendous addiction to (only fucking cool ones, mind) little statues/figurines/action figures.

Next up in my line of obssessions (commonly known as interests <.< ) is, of course, cooking. We should all be used to my babblings about food, or, at least the one's who went to school with me should be.

My list of things to do, kitchen-wise:
Buy a wok
Buy a bamboo steamer
Buy new knives (these one's will do, but damn i'd really like better ones)
Buy a rice cooker (Oh I can cook rice the oldschool way, I just don't want to)
Buy a blender (I wanna make myself shakes! Sinfully delicious shakes...)
Start growing fresh herbs (likely not until I move)

More likely to happen sooner:
Bake chai spice cookies
Bake chocolate cupcakes with white chocolate icing and strawberry glaze (I thought this one up myself!)
Make fried rice (probably this weekend after I go shopping)
Make chicken pad thai (again, need to shop)
Make cold rice wraps.

Riiiight. So, in the end, I need to do a lot of shopping.

I'd actually like to get into baking stuff then selling it again, but eh, I need to see how much a table at the farmer's market costs, as well as what the regulations regarding food are. :/ Then I need to bake it all (Ho'shit gettin' up at the crack of dawn) then get to the farmer's market. Le sigh.

Saaaaay, Mer? Maddy? Sarah? Wanna come over and cook and or bake with me sometime? I bet you do! ^_^

Alack, i've nothing more to say.

Things for me have overall been good, if a little boring at times. Ces't la vie, alors. I've seen a fair bit of Tyler and Jamie, and a lot of Sean, cause of his breakup drama. Horrah for being someone's main source of support.

Anyway, I cleaned the whole apartment basically, last wednesday. It's kinda messy again, but a lot less work to get tidy. Which I think i'll do today.

Yesterday I made pasta sauce, yummy, nummy pasta sauce. Fennel and mushroom, mainly, with a bit of red pepper (roasted and raw), garlic, shallots, salt, pepper, rosemary, cream and of course tomatos. It's delicious. I didn't actually make any pasta to go with it last night, cause well, that would have been too much work, really. I will make some today though, and it'll be ultra delicious! Hell, I think I might make some of it into a casserole of sorts. Hmm.

Ha, now i'm getting really hungry, thinking about all this food.

So, I don't update this journal very often. And well, that's because I already have and have had a journal on LJ for a long long time. Mind you, I don't update that one very often either, mostly because there really is nothing for me to update on.

Daily life: Eat, sleep, go on computer, watch tele. Occasionally the dreary routine is broken by someone coming over, usually it's Jamie, or Sean, but on a rare occasion (nowasdays thanks to school) Tyler, Jo or very rarely, Justin will be over. Usually all at once. Those are nice times. Heedless to say, the Maddy and friends need to be seen more. Which.. would be easier if I didn't live all the way over here methinks. Actually, I think everything would be easier if I didn't live all the way over here. Anyone looking for a roomie? I cook and clean! Eh? Eh?

Relationship: Well, i'm still with Jeremy, and have been for a bit over a year now. Of course most of you didn't know that, since it's not something I talk about very often, if ever at all.

Family: They still suck. End of story.

Music: Being a part of Treavor's music project is keen. Though it is pretty slow to get going at the moment (again because of people and school.. cursed institution!), but it's coming none the less. I'm to write lyrics for Tre, and quite possibly play keyboards for him, as well as sing. Hurrah. Oh, right. I'm making the album cover as well. Fancy that, my contributions grow.

Anywho, there really is nothing more to say.
